The Aquila 32 Sport combines the freedom of an open sport boat with the generous proportions of a power catamaran. Measuring 32 feet 4 inches (9.86 metres) overall with a 12-foot-8-inch (3.85-metre) beam, it offers an inviting setting for entertaining, swimming and exploring favourite waterfront destinations. A versatile deck layout keeps the emphasis on enjoying life outdoors, while a private cabin adds the flexibility to stay overnight. For Canadian boaters who value both lively days with friends and quiet escapes for two, the 32 Sport brings those experiences together.
Outdoor Spaces That Adapt to the Day
The Aquila 32 Sport makes thoughtful use of its beam, giving guests several places to settle in. Forward seating converts into a generous sunpad, while an aft seat to port folds down to create another lounging area. A settee and folding table provide a comfortable spot for lunch or conversation. Close by, the portside summer kitchen features a Corian countertop, refrigerator/freezer and freshwater sink, making refreshments easy to prepare and serve. From morning coffee at the dock to a leisurely afternoon at anchor, the arrangement keeps the practical comforts of boating within easy reach.
An Invitation to Enjoy the Water
The aft swim platform becomes a natural gathering place during swimming stops, with a retractable ladder providing convenient access to and from the water. Integrated boarding areas help guests step aboard from the dock, while the broad hardtop offers welcome shade over the main deck. Two opening hatches in the hardtop bring additional ventilation into the covered area. These are useful details for a boat designed around long summer afternoons, when swimming, relaxing and sharing a meal can all become part of the same outing.
Twin Mercury Power with Optional Joystick Piloting
Standard propulsion comes from twin 225-hp Mercury outboards, giving the Aquila 32 Sport a combined 450 horsepower. Owners seeking additional power can choose twin 300-hp Mercury Verado V8 engines, a package that includes Mercury Joystick Piloting for convenient control when docking and manoeuvring in close quarters. The choice allows buyers to tailor the boat to their preferred style of cruising, whether the plan involves relaxed waterfront outings or more spirited runs between destinations.
At the starboard helm, an adjustable seat accommodates two, with individual bolster cushions allowing the captain and a companion to find a comfortable position. Mercury VesselView instrumentation presents engine information, while a reversible companion seat to port helps keep the forward seating area connected to the rest of the boat.
A Private Retreat for Two
Below deck, the portside cabin provides overnight accommodation for two in a double berth with a memory-foam mattress. Hull windows bring in natural light, an overhead hatch supplies ventilation, and shelves, lockers and drawers keep personal belongings organised. A separate enclosed wet head to starboard includes an electric toilet, basin and shower. Its independent access allows guests to use the facilities without entering the sleeping area—a practical advantage during busy days aboard. For a couple enjoying a weekend away, the layout supplies the essentials for a comfortable night on the water.
