Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on different types of boats, including inboard and outboard engines.
2. Perform routine maintenance and service tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
3. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair marine systems such as electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning.
4. Handle boat rigging and the installation of accessories and equipment.
5. Ensure that all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
6. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
7. Assist in keeping the workshop clean and organized.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Boat Mechanic or Maritime Technician.
– Strong knowledge of marine engines, systems, and components.
– Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
– Effective communication and customer service skills.
– Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy objects.
